1. The agreement
These terms are an agreement between you and Altasoft Software Services & IT Inc. (“we”, “us”) for using TimeLogHub: the website and dashboard at timeloghub.com, the iPhone and iPad app, and the API (together, the “service”). By creating an account or using the service you agree to them. If you use it for a business, you confirm that you can accept these terms for that business, and “you” means the business.
2. Your account
- You must be at least 18 and give accurate account information.
- Keep your password and manager PIN private. You’re responsible for what happens under your account and on devices you set up.
- Tell us right away at admin@altasofttech.com if you think your account has been misused.
3. Your workers and their information
You decide who is added and what is recorded. You’re responsible for having the right to add each person and, where the law requires, for telling them that their hours and the device’s location at punch time are recorded, and for getting any consent needed. This includes any minors you add.
Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle this information on your behalf.
4. Time records and payroll
TimeLogHub is a tool to help you record and review hours. Overtime settings are starting points, not legal advice. You’re responsible for checking timesheets, correcting missed punches, applying the labour and payroll rules that apply to you, and paying your people correctly. Devices that work offline upload punches when they reconnect, so reports may be incomplete until then.
5. Subscriptions and billing
- Paid plans are billed in advance, monthly or as shown when you subscribe, through Stripe. New subscriptions may include a free trial; if you don’t cancel before it ends, the subscription starts and you’re charged.
- Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel any time, and it takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
- Fees are non-refundable except where the law requires otherwise. Prices exclude taxes, which are added where applicable.
- We may change prices with at least 30 days’ notice; the new price applies from your next renewal.
- If payment fails, we may limit the account until it’s paid.
6. Acceptable use
Don’t use the service to:
- break any law, or record people without the authority or notice the law requires;
- access other customers’ data, probe or overload our systems, or get around security or limits;
- copy, resell or reverse engineer the service, except where the law allows it;
- upload malicious code or content that infringes someone else’s rights.
7. Your data
You own the data you put into TimeLogHub. You give us permission to store and process it only to provide and improve the service for you, as described in the Privacy Policy. You can export your timesheets at any time while your account is active.
8. Our service
We own the TimeLogHub software, design and brand. We give you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service while your account is in good standing. If you send us feedback or ideas, we may use them without owing you anything.
9. Availability and changes
We work to keep the service running, but it may sometimes be down for maintenance or reasons outside our control. We may add, change or remove features. If we make a change that materially reduces what a paid plan includes, we’ll give notice and you may cancel.
10. Ending the agreement
You can stop using the service and close your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or doesn’t pay, with notice where reasonable. After an account is closed we delete its data as described in the Privacy Policy, so export anything you need first.
11. Disclaimer
The service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, and we don’t promise the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.
12. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost profits, revenue or data. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can’t be limited by law.
13. Indemnity
You agree to cover our reasonable costs from claims by third parties, including your workers, that arise from your data, your use of the service against these terms, or your breach of the law.
14. Using the iPhone and iPad app
If you download the app from Apple’s App Store, these terms are between you and us, not Apple. Apple isn’t responsible for the app or its support, has no warranty obligation beyond refunding the purchase price (if any) where applicable, and isn’t responsible for any claims about it. Apple and its subsidiaries may enforce these terms as third-party beneficiaries. You must also follow the App Store’s terms of use.
15. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. Any dispute will be handled in the courts of Alberta, unless the law where you live gives you the right to bring it elsewhere.
16. General
We may update these terms; we’ll post the new version here and, for significant changes, notify account owners before they take effect. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept them. If any part of these terms can’t be enforced, the rest still applies. These terms and the Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between us about the service.
